Yesterday I was exploring the vast expanses of Jacksonville’s food and bar scene and happened to step into the COPPER Tap House where I had the opportunity to meet with the General Manager, Jack Pepper. I had heard some great things about COPPER Tap House in the past so I figured I’d go check it out for myself.
COPPER Tap House provides a feeling of a sports bar and American style restaurant. They specialize in serving beer, more specifically beer-flights from several different specialty and craft breweries across the United States. They have four different beer flights each one offering six shot-sized samples of beers from their respective regions; the “West Coast” flight, the “Southern” flight, the “Northeast” flight, and the “Midwest” flight all offering a wide variety of flavors to experience.
BEER LOVERS HEAR THIS! Every week the COPPER Tap House will feature up to fifteen new beers on tap and every time a new one is introduced to the public COPPER Tap House gives out promotional swag items to it’s customers.
But the COPPER Tap House doesn’t end with beer they also have a wide selection of food items to choose from all though their specialty is sliders, their most popular slider is the “Surf & Turf”. Sports fans are encouraged to come catch the games on the many large TV screens provided within the establishment, NFL Red Zone is a frequently on during the season. Furthermore, the restaurant offers an outside seating area where local residents are welcome to bring their pets to.
The COPPER Tap House is also passionate about giving back to the community and has partnered with the Jacksonville Beach Lions Club to help those individuals who are visually and hearing impaired. The management also supports the local men and women in uniform, providing a 10% discount to military.
So if you haven’t been to COPPER Tap House yet and have been curious about diving into the world of craft beers come check them out. Each day they host a happy hour from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and a special trivia night on Thursdays.
